AMAZON PRIME DAY PREVIEW EVENT IN TORONTO | CORPORATE EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

I had the opportunity to photograph Amazon Canada’s 2024 Prime Day Preview Event at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto, bringing together more than 150 creators and publishers ahead of Amazon’s 10th annual Prime Day.

Held over two days, the event gave attendees an early look at upcoming Prime Day deals, customer trends, and some of the top-selling products on Amazon. The program included fireside chats, panel discussions, and breakout sessions, creating a mix of presentations, networking, and content opportunities for the creators and publishers in attendance.

The event also featured several notable Canadian personalities, including Lilly Singh, Jillian Harris, and Alicia Moffet, who joined the programming and connected with the creators and publishers throughout the event.

My role was to document both the programmed elements and the interactions happening around them. I photographed speakers and notable guests, candid conversations, portraits, branded details, product displays, and the broader atmosphere throughout the two-day event.

Evergreen Brick Works provided the setting, with its industrial architecture and surrounding green space offering a range of environments for Amazon’s programming.

For corporate events, I approach coverage with the goal of creating a complete visual record that can serve multiple purposes after the event — from social media and PR to internal communications and future marketing. That means staying attentive to the people, branding, details, and candid interactions while allowing the event itself to unfold naturally.

From large-scale brand activations and creator events to corporate celebrations and conferences, my approach is to work unobtrusively while staying attentive to the moments that matter — key guests, brand details, candid interactions, and the atmosphere that makes an event memorable.
