PHOTOGRAPHING THE 2026 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR BLACK LABEL LAUNCH EVENT AT LEE RESTAURANT IN TORONTO
I recently photographed Lincoln’s launch event for the 2026 Navigator Black Label at Lee Restaurant in Toronto. Produced by KRo Events and Hudson Rouge, the evening brought together influencers, creatives, media personalities, and other notable guests to experience Lincoln’s flagship SUV.
My role was to document the event as it unfolded — from the Navigator itself and the details of its presentation to guest arrivals, interactions, food, and the overall atmosphere of the evening. For corporate events, I approach coverage with the goal of creating a complete visual record that can be used across marketing, social media, PR, and internal communications.
Among the evening’s guests was television personality Sangita Patel, as well as Christine Park, the designer behind the Navigator, who offered insight into the design and craftsmanship behind the vehicle.
The event was held at Lee Restaurant, the flagship restaurant of celebrated Toronto chef Susur Lee. Located in the Waterworks building, Lee combines classical French techniques with Southeast Asian flavours and is known for its signature 24-ingredient Singaporean Slaw, which was served during the evening.
For an event like this, the venue and culinary experience are part of the story. I photographed the restaurant, the food, the vehicle details, and the guests throughout the evening to capture not only what was presented, but how the event was experienced.
From brand launches and corporate celebrations to conferences and private events, my approach is to work unobtrusively while staying attentive to the moments that matter — key guests, brand details, candid interactions, and the atmosphere that makes an event memorable.
